no, i have a 45 years old microscope. it is old, but it has a very high
quality. it´s a "Carl Zeiss". the pictures i take with a pocket camera into
the ocular, simple

no, i had to open the gold lid by a gas torch.
but i will never destroy a nice chip.
-
here the story:
i bought a C4009 in very great condition. i was very glad to get this
chip for my collection.
so i decided to clean the chip with a brush and warm water.
a brush is not the problem, warm water is no problem, my fingers are no problem, normaly there are no problems....
but...
i took a brush that i used month before to clean a circuit board with solvent.
so the warm water activated the solvent in the brush and all the printings
and markings were gone into the drain.
my heart stopped beating at this moment, what a mistake.
i was so angry about my self
so i decided to open the chip to take a core picture for my homepage.
a small comfort, but i hope many other interested people are happy about this picture, because nowhere in the internet you can find a core picture
of a C4009,
and i know why..... ahhhhrrrrrrrrrrrggggggg _________________ INTEL CPU´s, Peripheral,Ram,Eprom... & many Datasheets @ www.cpu-galaxy.at |

I was wondering the same thing...I am on the hunt for a microscope at my local university. I saw those scopes you were talking about Kosmokrator. Thanks for the advice G0b
I met a local guy who has a brass Ernest Leitz Wetzlar Microscope for 80.00 from 1891...very interesting looking. |
