|
|
I'm a little bit disoriented. I'm asking all of you for advices
One of ex-USSR manufacturers "Rodon" finally become bankrupt.
They have no any production now. They have no money to stand guard over the property remains...
I have an information they still have a lot of design documentation, templates, wafers and so on over 580 (i8080 clone) and 1810(i808x) series.
I had a phone conversation with Rodon's chief engineer today.
They are ready to sell this documents... but they can't compose a price.
I'm in perplexity. If the question is about $100 I'm ready to drive in the direction of Ivano-Frankovsk (about 600km) just now
But maybe they estimate it in $xxxx...
It seems to be there are no any one willing to by it exept me.
It grieves me to know all these docs throwing out.
Any idea ? Do we need these documents ? _________________ My Want List: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22729

| Just tell them you are interested in preserving the history of it and don't have any plans for commerical use; therefore the price they make might not be that much. |

Of course I have already done it.
Even more, I showed my web site... the plan worked - they become more agreeable _________________ My Want List: http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22729

I'd be glad to contribute $$$. It'd be good to get as much as possible from them - templates, wafers, unfinished chips, etc, and not just documentation.

Yeah, a small 10t-litho would be cool!
Seriously, please also ask for
some lithography transparencies
or however they are called....!
Usually there is as good as no
chance to get one of them anywhere! _________________ Ordem e Progresso |
