Just got a Athlon XP 2000+ Part number AXDA2000DUT3C and it is running at 1.25GHz and 200MHz FSB when I check it using CPU-Z. It should be 1.66GHz frequenzy and 266 FSB right? I am using MSI 745 ultra (MS-6561) motheboard in default CMOS set up. Why is it running so slow when it shouldnt be. I just replace my Duron 1.2GHz to gain a better speed but to my dismay, just got 1.25GHz boost. Any idea what should I do. Do I have to change the settings in CMOS set up, should I OC the system?

You should try to set in bios 266 MHz (133 real) fsb manually.

I adjust the CPU FSB Clock in the BIOS manually to 133 and it works fine now. It shows Athlon XP 2000+ with 1.67GHz. Is there any heat issue that I would worry about? And can I adjust the DRAM Frequenzy too, Im using a memory with DDR333. Should I set the DRAM Frequenzy to 333MHz too?

Now your processor works with it default frequency, so don't worry about heat.
Of course it's right in this situation to set dram frequency to 333 MHz.

You can consider leaving RAM frequency at 133MHz (DDR266, PC2100) as the SiS745 will probably perform better then. It's not much but if you want to tweak 'the hell out of' your system it's worth testing. You can validate the actual speed of your RAM using benchmarks. Try memory intense benchmarks of use SiSoft Sandra for more 'theoretical' numbers Smile.
