Hello everyone,

I've come across a seller with a Pentium II 1GHz processor.

Excuse my ignorance, but is there such a thing? I was unaware that Pentium 2's could be clocked relatively high...

Cheers Very Happy

best to ask the seller the question what the processor actually is.. not rely on listing info.

if its the intel VC820 board & Pentium II processor.. the highest it can be is a 450MHz.
But that board can take a Pentium III 1000MHz processor

Hi,

I've just sent them a question. It is a VC820 board, and the picture shows a pentium II.

Also the title says "Pentium II 1GHz CPU".

Perhaps he means it comes with a P2 but can accept P3's up to 1GHz.

Quite misleading...
