I would like to start and hopefully finish a collection of every kind of desktop Pentium 2 proccessor ever created.

But honestly I do not know where to start. I am aware that P2 chips where made in 233,266,300,350,400 and 450mhz offerings. So at least I have that information. But I also know that there are two bus speeds and tons of model numbers.

Does anyone have any tips? Any good websites that list every P2 ever created? Thanks.

80522PX233256
DC80522PX233256
80522PX266256
DC80522PX266256

Note that the list is a starting point, not comprehensive.

For example, I have a P2/266 SL28V which is not on the list. It isn't on Intel's S-spec list either.

Do you have one that isn't on the CPU-World Spec list? Shocked Question

Thanks for the info guys. There are so many SSpec variations that I think I will just concentrate on getting one of each Mhz and bus variation for now and concentrate on the rarer ones later on.

collecting all PII's will be a fun job, especially since they are all the same form factor. You could get or build a neat drawer system to store/display them.

Yeah, you chose one of the bulkiest processors Smile (apart from some of the IBM multi-chip ones)

I was thinking the same thing. And its a good time to collect them since they are so cheap. Most of them anyway.
