Hi all,
I am wanting to upgrade to the "best" processor my motherboard (Asus M2NC61S barebones) will support, which seems to be along the line of an AMD 5200. I currently have an athlon x2 4600+ 2.41 GHz. Would an upgrade make a noticeable difference or would I be better off getting another motherboard to support a faster processor?
Thanks |

Depends on what you do with your pc.
More ram is a good upgrade along with the cpu.
What's your operating system? |

Is it vista 32 bit or 64 bit, i thought only 64 bit will take advantage of 4 gigs of ram and 32 bit doesnt recognise it all. _________________ "The only reason for time is so that everything doesn't happen at once." A.E. |

| Don't know what the deal is. I installed 4 GB RAM and it is visible in the system info. Whether it uses all of it or not - I don't know. But I am using Vista Ulitimate 32 bit. |
