c't has always been respected worldwide. Not only by German speakers but by those who are willing to try and read other languages in the name of education
I know when I originally researched my CPUID code, c't came into the equation a few times

"This thread is useless without..." are a common post in forums when someone are describing something that could be better shown with pics. There are smilies in other forums made for that, so i just "borrowed" one from another forum by googling http://www.google.com/search?q=this+thread+is+worthless+without+pics+gif and then "borrowed" one from the top hit and placed the link in img tags. (img)http://home.freeuk.com/jrknight/smileys/postpics.gif(/img)
