hi folks!

my motherboard (asusA7V333) is equipped with an Athlon XP 2000+ (1667Mhz, Thoroughbred), i'dlike to cheap-upgrade the machine by throwing a XP3200+ into it.

Can anybody tell me if this is possible, or till which exact athlon cpu it is possible?
(Athlon XP Socket A(462); chipset: northbridge: via kt333 (100/133 fsb; 333 memory bus; southbridge via vt8233A)

thanks a lot

depending on your board's exact revision, your board may already be close to its limit[1]:
rev 1.01 - up to 2600+ (266MHz Thoroughbred)
rev 2.0 - up to 3000+ (333MHz Barton)
