seeing i have a few multiples of ceramic pentiums i noticied that some of the same sSpec had the old engraved markings on the base while others had the new iPP marking.
Looking at the dates it didnt necessarily work out old and new, so i was wondering if there was anything else to determine which should have the old and which to have the new marking
i did have a third pair to show, but the print rubbed off one on the first wipe looks like other fake, but thats another story _________________ There are 10 types of people in this world:

I also collect different cap versions of 486's and Pentium's. iPP is much more common than iXX IMHO. _________________ My microprocessor collection: The Gecko's CPU Library |

| This engraved marking is a good protection against relabeling. |

Yes, I guessed that is why they did it. They seem to be part of the ceramic 'moulding' rather than engraved. |
