I don't have a datasheet on this COP800 part, but, if the naming convention is similar to oder parts, then the first "C" stands for CMOS technology and "MC" is a package type. Mil-spec COP800 parts have part numbers COP6xx.

National Semiconductor uses
the first character after the type number = technology = C = CMOS
the second character M stands for the SO type package
the last is for the ceramic package
the first character = 6 = commercial 0° to 75° ( COP682 )
or 8 = Military ( not 883 type ) -40 + 85 ( COP882 )
or 9 = Extended temp -55 to + 125 (COP982 )
the 7 inserted as 2th character stands for an special Eprom or EEprom preproduction version.
I think this is a CMOS COP882 with eprom in a SO ceramic package -40°+85°
