Unfortunately I bought most of mine off ebay Crying or Very sad
But now I learned that computer scrap yards are the real gold mines. I found those intel mil-spec dx4's and a bunch of other cool re-sellable things in the first trip I ever did, the bad trip I mentioned doesn't count; the guy apologized because he was very busy.
So if you're interested in some fibre channel cards or a Prom Programmer you know who to ask for one Wink

P.S Frode!! Is MSN Messenger working for you? I keep getting "Server too busy code:2983707 0843 rrfhdzslkjhsdhfvlkjahhfaslkjfhdlkf;as"

Let's see...

eBay: AMD C8080, Intel C80186ES and C80188 ES, 80387 ES (without markings), Cyrix M1, etc

off-eBay: C4004 with gray traces, Intel C8080B, K5-200 ES, Rise MP6 ES,l Soviet processors.

So, about 50% came from eBay, another 50% came from somewhere else.

The best source for the really rare stuff is retired engineers and their
retired co-workers.

Some of these guys have unbelievable stuff in their attics and most don't have a clue that any of it is worth anything.

Treat these guys fairly and you can get some nice stuff.

As I mentioned in another thread.
Standing two hours in a metal box at a junk Yard brought me my first white Intel chips.

I would say yes. There are very few C4004 greys known in good condition and very few C4001 greys know at all. Do you want to trade Smile

Nice card! There are some old computer collectors that will be upset that a chip collector got that card. Don't trash the card as it is worth something as well. You could probably put a P4004 in it and sell it on Ebay for a little bit of money.
