;-((( ok, admin, delete the "guest"-thread, that was me.
I didn't want to ask that as anonymous:-)

Hi there,

how do sellers and buyers handle the feedback forum on ebay?

I think it should be that way that the seller leaves his feedback after he got the money - because that is the only buyers job.
I know a lot of sellers wait for the buyers feedback with the argument, they want to know if the buyer is satisfied, but why???
I know some cases where sellers wait - maybe they are afraid of a complaint - and keep their feedback as a chance for a revenge.
Ok, most sellers don't but I am wondering that really a lot of sellers don't praise after they got what they want.
So I never leave feedback first when I am the buyer.

Comments?

Yes, that's what I do too when I sell on eBay.

I did this when I started selling. Not leaving feedback immediately is a precaution against dishonest buyers - at least that's what I thought at the time.

Don't worry about this. If you're happy with the transaction why don't you leave positive feedback even if the other guy didn't leave feedback? Your current feedback is already very good, if in a month or two you will have feedback 100 instead of 120 - so what?

this is how i do it.

i recently sold 2 things, and as soon as i had payment i left positive feedback.

im waiting for one thing, and once i get it, provided everything is cool, ill leave positive feedback.

there is a risk though where i could leave positive feedback for someone, and then they get the item, didnt read the description, and are upset about something about it (i describe items very fully..) and leave me negative feedback as a result

but ill take those up with ebay
