Hey everyone. Im trying to hook up my xbox along with my computer together on the same monitor (i have the Samsung SyncMaster 2253LW; amzing monitor btw). just having some complication. When i use a vga extender to connect with the cpu, it wont let me access the resolution that i usually use which is 1680X1050. Is this because of the extender?

What does it do that doesnt allow you that resolution?

Does the resolution slider not allow it, does the monitor say "no image" when you go to that resolution?
