Well I have no idea what it is
The center appears to be a processor core, but the surrounding is a floppy film with gold plated wires. Nothing solid except the core in the center. It goes in a case, ( You will see below ) and there's writting in gold on the corner 5181-7344 with REV A Under it. You can see what's written on the back ( The white thing with a red mark through it ). I have other samples like this, bigger and smaller. Will be posting pics as soon as I find them.

its pretty cool looking but it looks way too fragile to be the packaging of the future
sadly i think intel's lga775 stuff is 'the wave of the future'.. but those sockets need work. |
