I won`t post the link here since this is not my auction.
Most of you have probably seen the listing already.
I think this particular chip will go for a huge amount.

MODs please remove or move if this should not be here.

John

That high of a first bid doesnt make sense unless it is a collector where money isnt an issue.

Unless that was the starting price. I would assume that the seller knows what he has here.

lol, that buyer is me:-)))

I asked him for better pictures which he added.

I think this chip is THE rarest one in the range od the early period (70ies). Besides Dan's and this I've never seen another one, Dan's one is now on www.commodore.ca as also they didn't have even a picture of one before.

We know plenty of grey C4004 and white 4040, some purple 8080 but there is not only Intel in the world:-)

I guess I will need to sell some others to refund that expensive buy but i am sure it is worth it.

Congratulations!
Yes, we can often find grey C4004 and white 4040, but can not easy to find this MOS chip. The grey C4004 and white 4040 is worthy of $800 or so, your MOS should be worth more Smile
