| Hello im new to this forum and glad to be part of it...well here is my problem and i hope this is the right section for it....i recently came across a Celeron D 2.93Ghz cpu but its missing pin G4 which is LOCK# which is common clock signal buffer type....i was just wondering if the cpu will still work with that pin missing? ive read on other sites that if its a grounding pin it will but nothing about this pin....please help and Thx in advance |

why u dont test it?
imo no luck to work....seems the pin is important!
if it was Vcc or Vss no problem but i think will not work |

Thx for the response Kosmokrator...and i really dont want to ruin my mobo....thats why i dont test it....well i guess this is shot untill i get someone to solder the pin back.....again thank for the fast response |
