This CPU was a 386 SX in a 286 package and released by Intel in order to upgrade 286-based PC. I never heard about that and I'm trying to find some informations or a picture...

I have seen them on eBay from time to time for around $20-$30US

No, it was not made by Intel and not a 386SX in PLCC68. It's a small board with a 386SX clone, in most cases a Cyrix 486SLC. I have serveral of them in my stock.

386 SX Now was upgrade adapter for 286 systems. Made by Kingston.
