The seller has given this description:

QVJ5 = 1,4 GHz / 1MB / Stepping B1
QVJ4 = 1,5 GHz / 1MB / Stepping B1



this description is possible ?

These samples are qualification sample of Banias (Pentium M) chip at 1.4 and 1.5 GHz. As you can see on the packagind, these is condensators in the top, so, these CPU are BGA chips.

B1 was the stepping that goes into production (normal for a qualification sample).

the number 724 can be of help for exact identification?

7 is the plant code (Israel i think, but i need to check)
2 is the manufacturing year (2002)
44 is the manufacturing week (Week 44)
A is the lot number
253 is the serial number

That's for the DIE. You can find the same information for the packaging in the bottom of the chip (6244B...)
