AMD Athlon XP2400+ Question

Okay I have just received this chip from an EBAY purchase.

It was listed as an untested chip and got it at a really low price of $6.75 including S&H. I thought it was worth the chance. IT is a 266 mhz chip.

So anyway I'm currently running an XP 2000+ 266 mhz chip in this computer and wasn't sure if I'd see much of a change in the operating speed with this install?

I do have another similar question already posted on this forum.
That is for a different computer just so you know.

You won't see much of the difference. It will just a few percent faster.
