Confused I just spent several hours over the past two days designing text and pictures on MS Frontpage for my next forum chip sale and I was hoping to just copy all this layout to the "for Sale" post.

Sadly, none of the layout text or pics will "paste" to a forum "for Sale" thread! Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Is there any way possible to copy and paste a pre-prepared layout in the forum???
Frontpage also lets me convert my layout to HTML, if that is supported.

Any help GREATLY appreciated!
I'd hate to have to re-type all this and upload pics all over again....Doh.. Rolling Eyes

I dont know what is the exact problem you met, but I think converting to HTML is one kind of fast solution:)

It's not possible to use HTML or XML in your posts here. You should use the propertiary syntax of the forum's software.

The predefined style tags are enclosed within "[" and "]" and the corresponding closing tags are marked by "[/" and "]"
Here are some examples - just copy and paste the text below "code" into editor's window and see what will happen. Very Happy

Code:

[b]text in bold[/b]

[i]text in italic[/i]

[u]underlined text[/u]

[color=darkred]dark red colored text[/color]

[size=20]large text[/size]

[size=20][color=green]large text in green color[/color][/size]

[url=http://www.google.com]link's description[/url]

Here is a link my old "for sale" thread where I used different font styles, links and external pictures:

Thanks.
I've used this propertiary syntax in all my previous listings, but you have to finish at one sitting.
With MS Frontpage, you can stop and go as you finish a sale posting or whatever, over several sessions.

Now I realize this can't be copied over to the forum, BUT I copied my text to the Notepad and then I copied and pasted it to the forum listing!

Pics won't copy to notepad, so I had to re-upload them to the sale listing.
