I am using a HP Presario 6150,the motherboard is a Microstar MS6553,the CPU is a AMD Athlon 2100+, 266MHz,socket A/462.Can I fit a 2400+ or a 2600+ at the same frequency 266MHz to increase the processing speed.I have the maximum of 1 Gb ram DDR 2100 fitted?

John, I dont think it would make any difference, as the range of 2000
to 2500 is minimal, better you get another board if you want more speed,
Plus a new Processor etc, otherwise keep what u got ok
