Hi to all,

found something interesting.

i recieved a AJ87C196KL sample with not fixed gold lid. under the microscope i found the regular intel copyrights and a BOSCH copyright. there i found also the word " KLCAN".
so i think this means CAN-BUS
bosch developed this bus system with intel in the mid of the 80's so IMO this is a CAN-BUS controller sample.

Correct.

They were one of the first to develop fuel injection systems for mass market, as well as the CAN bus (Control Area Network).

It use to be proprietary and non-free, but now is an open standard.
