CPU ID

Hy dear,
i have Fujitsu desktop pc, recently i have changed my processor to Intel ht 3.0ghz 64bit. but the problem is that whenever i start my computer it sys that the patch for cpu id is invalid, i have upgraded my bios but have the same problum please help me to get rid off that problum

I pretty old topic but maybe you still expect answer Very Happy I'm sure that wasn't original CPU in this OEM PC ? You have upgraded CPU and getting errors in POST. If that wasn't corrected in latest BIOS then you cann't do anything else - that is CPU code list in BIOS which is not up to date.
