CPU compatiblity / Upgrade

I could not find a list of compatible CPUs for my mother board Dell Inspiron 530 Motherboard 0RY007. I currenly have an intel celeron D @ 2.2ghz so im in desperate need of an upgrade. i Tryed upgrading to a Intel Celeron @ 3.33ghz but my mother board wouldn't accept it.i know that my mother board is compatible with dual core possessors but not quad core.based on that knowledge would a Intel Pentium dual core @ 1.8 ghz be compatible and how much of a speed upgrade will i notice. Best option will be take a call to Dell support centre with question : "What CPU I can buy from you with highest performance" Only ask because price will be about twice or triple from that from eBay
