I just wanted to show Jac and a few others that I had a guy make me a very cool Nixie clock that I just wanted to show off a little bit. Very Happy This guy is very good at it, he also makes clocks from old ocillascope tubes and stuff. I just love the way the tubes glow when its in my livingroom and the lights are dimmed down a bit. But you can also see it great when its full sunshine as well.
It also looks very industrial to me so I know alot of friends are going to ask questions about it. It shows the date at the end of every minute during the last four seconds of the minute. even has an alarm and I can set it to shut off the display and turn it back on at any given time as well.

It's a beauty!
I guess I will buy one soon, I am still not sure where I should look for.
Some go for less than $50 on ebay, others cost $500 BIN.

Yep.. another nice implementation of the blue LED under the tube. The blue goes well with the orange glow, its looks way better than than a picture can show.

Build quality is lacking however Sad

What function do the felt tip pen lids serve?

But, nice clock. I'll make my own one day when I get the balls to work with voltages above 24v Smile
