This is the best chip I have ever found
Developed by Intel's ATD group and I cannot remember for the life of me what ATD stands for. I believe this sample is referenced in the Pentium Heatspreader Qualifications doc, found here..
http://www.intel.com/support/processors/pentium/sb/CS-011043.htm
Look on page 8 & 9 and you'll see starting with the B-1 Stepping the different qualifications, this chip being from the C-0 stepping labeled as HVTOL (7 Volts, 125 Degrees C) and on the chip it says HVTOL QUAL.

| Right you are...seeing it referenced in the Heatspreader Qual I thought it might be a heatspreader but you are right John. I guess that explains why it is much larger than a production die. |
