http://cgi.ebay.com/L-K-SUPER-RARE-IBM-9121-GOLD-TCM-MODULE-L-K_W0QQitemZ140295419153QQihZ004QQcategoryZ4193QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Once I saw the seller list them as $1500, now $400.
probably due to economic crisis ?

My question is what is the reasonable price for this beauty ?

Thanks

It is said that the gold value shall be around $100.
I doubt this is true as a jeweller I know took a look on my TCM module and "measured" the gold content with some chemical stuff, the result was almost zero.

My conclusion: Big, nice, strange and heavy but not worth what most sellers claim.

Having talked to scrappers, they usually get $100 in gold from them, the bigger ones get $400

It would be worth more if it was used to club to death the last living member of a species.

So it's almost impossible to get one below $100 from scrapper unless the gold price is down to $500 from $1,000 (I do hope so).

I guess the "reasonable price" would around $150-200 for collector.

"gold content" + "technical content" = 100 + 50-100
