KUDOS to John's city of Vancouver, which should be proud of the Winter Olympic Games opening ceremonies held tonight. They were as spectacular as the country hosting it! Dancing Applause icon_drunk
Party on!
I kept expecting some shiny CPU's to fall from the sky along with the sparkling snowflakes. Wink
hmmm...was the huge Torch flame a secret tribute to the enemies of chips...the scrappers!? Surprised

I watched it tonight as well. I like the olympics for the atheletes only. The rest is just big business.
When you include everything that was done to host the olympics it will be around $5 billion. We will be paying for the next 30 years for it. The free loading politicians don`t give a rats ass, as everything to do with the games is free for them. Only 25% of the tickets for the major events went to the public. The rest went to the crooks from the IOC, politicians and their friends.
