KUDOS to John's city of Vancouver, which should be proud of the Winter Olympic Games opening ceremonies held tonight. They were as spectacular as the country hosting it!
Party on!
I kept expecting some shiny CPU's to fall from the sky along with the sparkling snowflakes.
hmmm...was the huge Torch flame a secret tribute to the enemies of chips...the scrappers!? _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

I watched it tonight as well. I like the olympics for the atheletes only. The rest is just big business.
When you include everything that was done to host the olympics it will be around $5 billion. We will be paying for the next 30 years for it. The free loading politicians don`t give a rats ass, as everything to do with the games is free for them. Only 25% of the tickets for the major events went to the public. The rest went to the crooks from the IOC, politicians and their friends. |
