I already purchased the Pent Mobile 4 from ebay for 15 bucks.

Reason why is because I googled Dell Inspiron 600m cpu and got this link
machinaelectronics.com/store/buypart/Dell_Inspiron_600M/SL7NA

Says it is 478 pin.

My current is a 479.

I'm not understanding if it would work or not as it two different pin count.

That website says its good for a dell inspiron 600m.

Please let me kno whats up..

Celeron M is in a socket 479, which although very similar to 478, is not nearly as similar as the numbers might portray.

You need a Pentium M processor to upgrade your new laptop, the processor that company sells does NOT and can NOT work with your laptop. There are no Pentium 4 processors for the 600M.
