A friend of mine had this a while back:
Its a tbird 900, with an opga package..
I havent seen any of these before or after.. Unfortunately he cracked the core putting a heatsink on backwards..
Has anyone seen any more of these? I'd like to get my hands on one..
I think it was probably some limited oem run or something? |

betcha it's a mobile.
I think overclock.de had a serial-number decoder... you could prolly find out that way... i can tell at least that it's a Thunderbir "B" which means 200FSB... no way was there a regular desktop chip at that speed. |

900/200 is unusual? a friend of mine (the same friend, actually, heh) had a 1ghz/200fsb tbird as well.. that one though was on cpga so it wasnt unusual..
the only thing i find unusual about this cpu is the fact that its opga.. i think i even have another cpga tbird with the ARGA stepping.. |

ARGA is the stepping, I'm talking about the first line...
I don't think I've heard of an "A0900".
And what I meant about the FSB was that you wouldn't find OPGA AND 200FSB on a desktop chip. |

About that, does somebody know if AMD has something like Intel's processorfinder? |

I'm periodically looking for Athlons/Durons on eBay, and I've never seen 900 MHz Athlon in OPGA package. There are only two references for this processor on the net. BTW, you can buy 1 GHz Athlon in OPGA package for $58.
