Hey all,

I don't usually send this kind of message, but I feel I should let you know about "Cutabove" who has fallen on hard times.
Most of us have all had our own problems this past year and a half, but I got this message (below) from Johnny after I wrote to him about sending him some scrap Pentium chips to trade for anything interesting that he might have. (Don't worry- these were not collectible chips Surprised )

I felt really bad for him and his family since he is a member here and he gave many members some nice Mil-spec chips awhile back and no one got ripped off, so his honesty gets respect.

I have posted his message to me below and maybe some members here that are able can send him a note for good wishes, or better yet, maybe Paypal him a small donation to help him and his family get through a stressful time. He didn't ask me to do this BTW, so he will be surprised if any help is sent his way.
QUOTE:
Hey John.We have been under sever stress the last few months.Sorry for not getting back with you sooner. We found out we were losing our house, due to the owner not making the mortgage payments,4 days before the forclosure sale, the owner filed bancruptcy and the sale was canceled and we don't know where we stand right now.
3 months ago I found out I have to go to court over a child support issue from a child that was concieved over 18 years ago,and now the grandmother wants child support(and yes the child is over 18 now).
2 weeks ago I almost took my leg off with a computer cover(not exagerating)not it is infected badly and I have to go to the hospital monday.Im sorry I haven't gotten back with you about anything, but has become a full time job simply trying to maintain our sanity.
I did get some boards last week that had some neat small IC's,and I will be getting some boards this coming up week with LSI cpu's that have 2 triangles on them.I don't believe I have seen any like that before. But I will most likely post them on the forum for sale first and see what I can get out of them.Unfortunately we need as much money as wee can get right now.
Johnny

I don't know his Paypal address, but here is his Email: mmullis[at]cfl[dot]rr[dot]com

I'll leave the rest up to you.Wink

Thanks!
-John O.

I woke this morning to a surprise.A member sent us some money.Thank you chan, that was incredibly nice.My wife and I would have been very grateful for $5 or $10,but that was very generous.I am humble, and I thank you.I have more good news,2 days ago a friend gave me some antibiotics and my leg is looking and feeling significantly better.I am sure I will be better by the end of this week.
Thank you again john, john(jr) and chan.
Johnny

I can only say that I understand what it means to have your house been pulled from under your feet.
My family and I had to move for a very close reason as yours. And it's not even your fault...

I really hope you'll recover your health as soon as possible.

Hey everyone.I want to let you all know that mary and I are doing much better now.My leg is pretty much completly healed.I cannot thank everyone enough for the emails, calls,IM's and PM's,and to the member that sent us the money(that was so awesome).I was able to get a new camera a couple of weeks ago,and spent the better part of yesterday getting some chips together, and hopefully I will have them on tonight.
I am waiting for a response on a load of electronic test equipment,of course I will have some of those chips for sale aas soon as I can go through everything. Thanks to everyone that has bought chips from me in the past, and most importantly to CPUshack john.....your tireless devotion is something to be greatly thanked and appreciated.
Thanks again guys....you are the best.
Cutabove
