I'm planning to overhaul my previous rig based on socket 478 by buying a new Pentium Dual Core 2.70Ghz paired by a new G31 based chipset mainboard. I believe this combination is a good choice coz my priority is based on power efficiency. But I'm confused about the power phases I should choose. Which is more power efficient, a 3-phase or a 4-phase VRM?? Please help. Thanks..
