I am a student of Computer Science & Informatics (University of Maribor, Slovenia). I write a term paper about microprocessors "Comparison of Processors". One of the processors that should be described in my term paper is "SGS Thomson STPC Pictor".
I have been searching on the Web for "STPC Pictor", however without success (only one relevant article at www.st.com).
If you could provide me with any kind of information (mostly technical data, if possible) or internet address regarding STPC Pictor, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!

If even ST website doesn't have information about their own product then I doubt you'll find it somewhere else. What may be possible to do is to get info about STPC Vega, and combine it with information from ST press release about STPC Pictor (it lists differences between Pictor and Vega).

Yes, I have sent email to several ST addresses, but unfortunately with no reply so far.
I have also posted a message at ST support forums as you suggested. I am waiting to see what might happen there.

Gennadiy, thank you very much for your kind assistance once again.
Info from ST:
------------------
From our distributor MSC we got your request for some information about a product called STPC Pictor. Unfortunatelly I have to tell you today that this product was planned, but never realized. Instead of this device we created the STPC Vega. The datasheet for this device you will find attached to this mail. More information about our STPC products you will find on our webpage http://www.stmcu.com. |
