My translator said that this package unclaimed i.e. buyer didn't take package from post office. _________________ S.M.A.R.T. -- Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology

| Yes as DamnBeavis said, the buyer didn't look for the package in the given time. |

I have had this happening to me several times with packages from the USA. I never received a notice from the Postal services. If it is not picked up within a couple of weeks they are supposed to send a 2nd notice but I did not receive that either, so it was eventually sent back. Had to pay extra postage to get it reshipped and the Postal services refused to reimburse me claiming they sent the required notifications. This happened a few times several years ago when USPS changed shipper within Europe (made contract with another company for packages) which caused a lot of problems ans severe delays for packages as well.
I have obviously no idea if this is the case here.
Did you "speak" to the guy at the receiving end? |
