| I have 2 unidentical sticks DDR2 667 at 512mb (different brands-PQI & Hynix) but have the same speed and latency. The system recognized it at 1Gb but in the BIOS it is a single channel. It should be in Dual Channel right? The 2 slots were filled & has the correct reading. Why is this so?? |

Look if you can set it manually in the bios, look around.
Maybe try flashing the bios with a newer version.
Unless you have critical apps that need more bandwith, you won't see a performance hit that huge.
Don't go too hard on your nerves. Relax... |
