Several hours ago, I knew this shocked news from a prompt information.
To be honest, at that time I thought it must be a very bad news for Marcin's country.
It must be a super loss for Poland and the people of Poland.
Very sorry to hear the bad news...

Human point of view: tragedy.
It's never fun to die, so I pay the due respects for the victims of a great tragedy.
Politically, I hope that a new era for Poland opens up. |

It's a huge blow to the Polish political scene. Moreover, a lot of people responsible for the military have died as well. Navy, airforces, special forces, you name it.
Kaczynski is a person to be missed, he was present during the talks with the then communist regime authorities, he was working in cooperation with Lech Walesa during the fall of communism in Poland.
Everyone in Poland is holding their breath, we don't have a president any more _________________ Power without the price. |

My sympathies to our Polish friends on the tragic loss of their new President and other Polish Officials in today's plane crash. I hope you can repair the loss quickly and make progress in the months ahead. _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

Huge tragedy. First of all, for Poland and the Poles, but also for Serbs who see Poles as friendly, brotherly people of Slavic origin.
I hope that this tragedy will, as opposed to one 70 years ago, in a way, bring those two Slavic nations, Poland and Russian, closer to each other.
My sincerest condolences. |

An unbelievable tragedy
I would like to express my condolences to the people of Polen in this forum, the Poles in the country I am currently staying and all the Poles.
I might actually go to Bletchley Park this year where they now (as of 2002) also have a memorial for the Poles that gave ground breaking information about the ENIGMA machine and how it worked, helping to solve the code that was in great help winning WWII.
Bletchley Park Polish Memorial:
"THIS PLAQUE COMMEMORATES THE WORK OF MARIAN REJEWSKI
TERZY ROZYCKI AND HENRYK ZYGALSKI - MATHEMATICIANS OF THE THE POLISH INTELLIGENCE SERVICE IN FIRST BREAKING THE ENIGMA CODE. THEIR WORK GREATLY ASSISTED the BLETCHLEY PARK CoDE BREAKERS AND CONTRIBUTED TO THE ALLIED VICTORY IN WORLD WAR II"
