Who has one of these? Sorry for the bad quality, but I took the picture with my camera phone. It's an extremely handy thing to have, especially with the data cable. Now I don't have to pay a thing to my provider! Unless it's a very important cpu, or my phone is down stairs while my camera is next to me, you'll be seeing my common chips like this more often, sorry

Hi,
I have one of this cpu, it's an fc80486dx4-75 clocked at 75Mhz.
It's a mobile 486 mine is soldered on the mainboard of a AST Laptop.
Regards

i pulled one of these out of an old acer laptop a while back. it was socketed, but the pins still got bent pretty bad just from handling .. so fragile..
anyhow ive had it for months but i finally got around to scanning it.
i was actually going to ask about this one .. does anyone know if its actually any sort of mobile cpu, or if its just a 486 dx4 in a smaller package? ie, does it have any kind of power management, etc? it says 3 volt which is the same as a normal dx4:

k, ill just list them as the same chip then, and not as a 'dx4 mobile' ..
not to hijack the thread, but on a similar note:
those ARE actually mobile, right? speedstep and such?
also are these pics too big? just linking directly saves the effort of making a smaller version :/ |

Its a pretty common 486. Used in mobile applications alot. |
What can I say, I AM lazy!
I have some other chips I just got in the mail, will be posting some nice ones. Maybe a BP 120mhz, 125mhz, etc etc
Oh by the way I won one of those 125mhz overdrives !! I paid $.95 more than you, but it is a must have |
