Upgrading my Amd 4200+ x2 athlon

Hello guys well while i'm registring, i want to renew my 4200 for a better processor, i got a k9n Platinum(not sli version),with 2 gb rams ddr2 But i dont know what it best for me, i got only this two options

AMD Athlon 64 X2 5800+ Model ADA5800IAA5DO 2x 512KB, 1000MHz FSB, Brisbane,Dual-Core, Socket AM2

Amd Phenom X3 8450 Triple Core 2.1 Ghz

I just use the pc for chatting and games online and other games, but i want to renew the processor i've got, i upgrade the Bios of my k9n to 1A.

I dont know which one its better, cuz both have 6ghz. I just use the pc for play games, not hardly graphics games, Like WoW, and emulators Wii.

I would say X2 5800+ is faster than Phenom X3 in most cases - only when you play game which use (support) triple core CPUs then Phenom will be faster.

Well thanks, ya i just play i this stuffs, so i just want to upgrade the processor for a best perfomance for games.
