Can you replace a SL6F8 with a SLA4D

Hi there,
Im curious if anyone know if I can put a newer dual core cpu (SLA4D) in my older dell D800 that currently has a SL6F8..

Ok cool. Thanks alot!

Ive also got a QL60 that im looking at upgrading.. from what I read the ZM86 or 87 would be the fastest choice.. would you agree?

looks to be, all of those are about the same thermal design power, temp range and voltage (and core) so should be a simple swap.

Long as your BIOS recognizes it.
