| Thanks fRaSsL - I already checked the cpu-musem site but it doesn't included info on the 97400R-10 versus 97501R0-10 variant. |

97400R-10: 12 bit address registers (4 KB address space, up to 4 KB EPROM). Supports 2716, 2516, 2532 and 2758 EPROMs.
97501R-10: 16 bit address registers (64 KB address space, up to 8 KB EPROM). Supports 2764 and 2732 EPROMS.
There are also some differences in how internal RAM and EPROM memory are mapped within addressable memory, but this is mainly because the addressable memory size is different.
