I noticed a few collectors have 650x chips in their collection with part numbering starting with HKE like this one

It seems that the manufacturer hasn't been noted anywhere or unknown
So for those wanting more info.. here it is Smile

Manufacturer = Hua Ko Electronics

datasheet is HERE

some sections of the datasheet

the above datasheet seems to cover all 65SCxx parts they made, but here a listing of individual parts (not sure if all the same datasheet)

http://www.datasheetarchive.com/cn/manufacturers/5607/1.html

seems these guys got into a lot of trouble of the years.. even being banned from importing US products for 5 years Laughing

I cant confirm yet, but it looks like the HKE65SCxx range were illegally made clones Confused

yah patent infringement product suspensions, UMC got in some crap about that, among other companies.

Now the 6502 is out of patent so anyone can use

it has there that they were established 2001, but the same company keeps reinventing itself.
The original company was first started back in 1981/82
