are you just asking for us to look at whatever chips we have and give you all the markings?

nooooo problem Smile

heres scans of all mine.. i know you told me the ibm blue lightning wasnt a cyrix design, and i know the cyrix iii isnt what you're looking for, but what the heck Smile

its about 600k. front and back scans. large so you can read everything. the back sides are flipped over, not rotated or anything (in case you're wondering about the orientation of the lettering on the second 6x86mx)

edit: LOL. i just now bothered to read the back of that ibm blue lightning chip. guess that answers my question!

Yah, the goal here is to see when IBM began using Cyrix masks.

and to see the diferent die revisions.

Personally I think this will be alot of fun

OK if your site had pictures of the back of CPUs I got info from them.

If you dont have a site (or your site lacks pics of the back of CPUs)

Please post your Cyrix 486 and 586 CPUs here .

Like this:
Cx486DX-33GP
FK5412B

Cx486DX2v66
G4CQ519M
3.45V/3.6V/4.0V

Cx486S33
AB1326F

5x86-120GP 026
G5FB603C

-----------------------
Oh and if you have a Cyrix 586 133 I needs its code real bad lol
Thanks
CPU Shack

Things are progressing, here is some real raw info

http://www.cpushack.net/cyrix486CPUs.html

I'm still trying to figure out the ST and TI made CPUs.

ST is very hard as they supplied wafers (and possibly assembled CPUs)

TI, is hard to tell at the moment.

IBM, which is usually easy, has ALOT of plant codes which seems odd.

not to mention the manufactured in country doesnt always seem to be listed on these.
