We have a recycling program at work and usually I can manage to save a few items. These were my saves from last night:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 07/05
AMD K6-2 350MHz AFR 98/44
AMD K6-III 450MHz AHX 99/19
2x sticks of 1GB DDR-2 PC5300
S1598S Socket 7 Board with AGP and SDRAM
1x stick of 16MB SDRAM
1x stick of 32MB SDRAM
S3 Trio 3D/2X AGP
nVidia Vanta TNT2 AGP
All of it was going to be scrapped. Pretty incredible what people throw away. The old parts I can understand, but an Athlon 64 X2 5000+ and 2GB of DDR2 is a bit crazy. One of my other surprising recycle finds was a working Core 2 Duo E4500.

Yea. The K6 sitting off to the side is a K6-2 350 and the K6 on the board is a K6-III 450. Sorry for the crappy picture quality. Don't have a scanner. It was a quick snap with my phone.
Looks like the board is good!
