| I have seen the fastest of what AMD and Intel can offer, but it just doesn't cut it. I need something entry level into the prosumer cpu level(if there is such a thing). Anyone got any stores I can view with prosumer level blazing fast cpu's that just smoke Intel and AMD? |

And what's about a six-core X5680 Xeon? Or even a 12-core Opteron 6174?
If you need even more power - then you could purchase a dual CPU bard with two of these chips! |

| Does having more cores actually even help with processing tasks like extracting a large winrar archive or compiling a very large flash application using flash cs5? |
