it is a 486 soc , compatible with dos , linux , win95/NT,
this chip is unique in that it can work without RAM/ROM (failsafe)

it is avaiable around 2001 but soon discontinued due to lawsuit between a big company (IBM or ST , i cant remember well but i think it can be find on the ZFmicro site)
and became avaiable again since 2008 after the lawsuit settled
(the logo was then change from machZx86 to Zfx86
the one for sale is old version (before the lawsuit)
