Today I have won an auction with Engineering Sample of Intel Xeon E5530. Specification : http://www.cpu-world.com/sspec/QG/QGYA_1.html
Someone can confirm if that CPU can be used in desktop socket 1366 motherboards ? I have checked some ASUS and Gigabyte boards and that model isn't present on CPU support lists (propably because of server destination).
I'm sure kosmokrator will tell me the truth

Asus P6T6 WS Revolution
Asus Sabertooth X58
GA-EX58-UD3R
EVGA X58 Classified
And probably many others can run it. |
