hey guys so i messed up the bios on my asus p4g8x deluxe mobo, my friend gave me his chip off of a similar mobo i think it was asus p4ge-mx

can i use it on the pg8x board or will it not work?

| i think will not work...... even the specsof the rom isnt the same..Also the Rom-id will not the same....So no luck to boot up the machine or -maybe damage some components...ram or cpu....or chipset of mb.....the best way is to find a same mb to replace the bios ,,, |

I came across this site a while ago. It appears you can use a cheap Intel pro 100 nic to reflash your original eeprom chip. _________________ I like the place to go *BOOM* |

there is a blue marker line that was written on it so it is either 39sfc20a or 39sf020a
and im trying to do this with no money at all  |
