I have a i7 965 ES i bought NEW from craigslist last year, and I'm really hungry for a i7 990x, (most likely ES because retail is gonna kill my wallet!).

used in great condition i7-965 ES for sale and if you have an extra good working condition i7-990x ES, i can add money to the trade!

Is this ES have unlocked multiplier ?I have Xeon E5530 ES but still looking for cheap board which support it.

i dont see why an i7-965 extreme wouldnt have an unlocked multiplier, thats why its called extreme.

and im not sure about xeon's having unlocked multipliers

With ES you can't be sure but yes extreme editions had unlocked. Thanks for info.

Chimera 996, what are you using the i7 ES for? Odds are, trade Windows for Fedora (Fedoraproject.org) 12 or similar and your compu can be doing handsprings by comparison.
