the last festival of chinese lunar new year is the lantern festival
this year , the Taiwan lantern festival (from the 15th day to the 26th day of the lst lunar month ) is held by the town 30+ km away from my town
last night i brought my kids there
and it is super-crowded
we spend 8 hours and only get the margin of the show
and still inable to see the main lantern (i was told it is a rabbit 20 meter high. this year is the rabbit year )
i read the newspaper today
there were 1.5 M people join the festival last night (total about 10M visit in these 11 days show ) |
