Dual Xeon system problem

Hi all,
I have got a three years old dual xeon system, but I have a lot of problems with it recently. The problems are windows collapsing, and very often operating system is not found. A new power supply and a brand new system HDD had been changed. The memories are 4x2GB Kingston FBDIMM , the motherboard is Tyan S5396. I realised that the CPU are different ( I knew about two X5450 CPUs earlier). One of them is X5450 and the other is E5450 Xeon processors. Is it possible to cause these problems the different CPUs?
Important: Everything was OK in the last three years up to now

Anybody could help? I need your help!

only thing with using different sSpec processors is the lowest stepping or the CPU with the least features needs to be in CPU socket 1

i would not use diff sspec cpus in dual cpu system - period.
Live CDs like any linux distrib has a built in memtest -run see if anything wrong with memory.
New power supply may not have enough power even if its new -whats yours ? (model)
What OS have you installed?
Last thing - sata/pata (lol) cables.
There is an option of how you caonnect your supply to a mobo, depending on what PS you have.

OS: win7 64 bit. Power supply: Cooler Master 650W. RAM: Kingston 4x2GB FBDIMM, HDD: 2x WD 500GB raid, for system Seagate 500GB Sata both. Video PNY FX1700
